The much awaited Srinivas University Annual Athletic Meet was held on Saturday 08th February 2020, at Police Ground, Pandeshwara, Mangaluru with great excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The Programme began with the Guest of Honor Dr. A Srinivas Rao, (Vice President, A Shama Rao Foundation & Pro-Chancellor, Srinivas University) welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in day to day life. The Inaugurator, Sri. Sudhakara Joshi (Advocate & Member, Board of Governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru), and Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr. P. S. Aithal also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Sports captain. An energizing equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event. College of Computer and Information Sciences, Srinivas University had organized a guest lecture on IT opportunity in various fields, which was held on 5th of February 2020, II floor LCD room, city campus, Pandeshwara. The resource person for this guest lecture was Dr. Swaminathan S, Principal, College of Hotel Management and Tourism, Srinivas University. He interacted with our first BCA students on how they could contribute in various fields as an IT developer and also specifically addressed them about the opportunity they have in the area of hotel management and tourism.
